VT Child Care Tax
Function
To record the amount of taxes owed to VT for Child Care Tax.
Things you should know:
States: Select VT Child Care Tax
Employee Flat rate (max 0.11%): Enter the percentage for the Employee’s tax
Employee share by deduction: Use the drop down box to select the deduction the employee contributes to for the Child Care tax every pay period.
Use the drop down box to select the deduction the employee contributes to for the Child Care tax every pay period.
Pay Period: This selection will allow the choice of the starting and ending dates that the report will be prepared for.
Quarter: This selection will allow for the Quarter year and the Quarter number for the report to be printed.
Prepare: Click on prepare to create the report in an excel spreadsheet.
VT Child Care Tax
Function
To record the amount of taxes owed to VT for Child Care Tax.
Things you should know:
- Employees are not required to file or pay the CCC, but employers may choose to deduct and withhold up to one-quarter of the contribution from employee wages (i.e., not more than 0.11% of any employee’s wages). The employer may choose to withhold a smaller portion from employee wages or choose not to withhold any amount from employees. There is no requirement for employers to withhold the same amount from every employee
