#422 New Hire Reporting
Function
New Hire Reporting will generate a list of new hires and selected information to be submitted to your state based on your individual state’s requirement. The supplement will prepare a fixed length ASCII file in accordance with your state’s reporting format.
Note: If your state has an electronic reporting requirement and it is not an option in the State combo box, please contact GMS at [email protected] to have us prepare a format for you.
Things You Should Know
Operating Instructions
Hire Date: Select the beginning and ending date of the period for which you are generating the report.
State: Select your state to generate the correct format.
Contact Name: Enter the name of the contact person.
Prepare File: This option will generate the electronic file to be submitted. You will be asked where to save the report. The file name is your state followed by the ending date of the period, i.e. Ohio1231.

- Depending on the state selected, you may need to provide additional information such as insurance availability and costs.
- Hire Date beginning and ending dates are selected to meet your reporting needs.
